Will's Headstone

Will's headstone was installed this week. Many of you have been asking about it, so I thought I would share a picture of it since many of you live out of town and can't see it. I thought that it turned out very well.

Josh and I are doing ok. We're going to Memphis this weekend to celebrate my 25th birthday. I feel much older than 25... this whole experience has aged me quite a bit.

    It's beautiful, Stephanie. And those flowers are, too. We think about you all everyday and remember you constantly in our prayers.

    Remember what David Friedli, who also experienced the loss of a child, said in his remarks at Will's memorial service: Give yourself permission to be happy again. It's okay.

    We love you and Josh so much. And can't wait to see you in Memphis this weekend to wish you a happy birthday!

    Love and hugs,
    Uncle Jay

    Stephanie, thank you for sharing this picture with those of us who have followed your blog. What a fitting tribute to God's Will--a little boy who touched so many lives in his short time here on earth. I continue to check your blog almost daily and hope you'll continue to keep us posted on you and Josh. We'll keep you in our prayers. Linda in Pensacola

    Hi Stephanie and Josh,

    Happy Belated Birthday! I hope you enjoyed time with family and friends in Memphis.

    What a beautiful statement....he certainly is God's Will.
    He touched so many people in a short period of time and I praise God daily for the new angel in heaven.

    Take care and see you at HPC

    Thank You for sharing your son Will's headstone with us all. That is a very compasionate thing to have done. You are amazing people and parent's. Keep your faith strong and remember God works in mysterious ways? I will forever hug my sons a little tighter and tell them I love them more often. They complain when I want a kiss and we are in the school parking lot. They are 12 and 8. Too mature for kisses:)
    You have touched my LIFE in many ways. Thank you both for your courage and one day, when the time is right, GOD will bless you with another child. He reconizes your good qualitits. I don't know that I could have made it? I wonder if I were able to live? You are testiment that you are very STRONG !! Does GOD know that? You bet:) Thank you for helping me learn that.
    Live through Will. We love your precious Will. He meant the world to many of us and is the STRONGEST lttle man I have ever seen. In GOD eyes we have met Will. In spirit we will never forget. From Michigan. Friends of Wyatt.
    * Have a great week!*
