Monday, January 30th

Will had a good weekend. He is off Dopamine (pressure med.)... all he is on now is Versed. They give him methadone every couple of hours so he doesn't suffer from withdrawl.

We still haven't received any info. on what the plans are for Will's transport. Vandy is doing a follow up abdominal CT scan to make sure his belly is ok and that it is ok for them to start his feeds back again.

Once Dr. Parra hears back from radiology about the results of the CT, he will call Michigan about when to send him up.

The CT results probably won't come back in time this evening for Dr. Parra to call them, so it's most likely that Wednesday will be the day that Will is lifeflighted up to Michigan. We'll let you know as soon as we hear something!

Hey there! Our daughter, Anna who is three and a half has had all of her surgeries (3) at the U of M and Dr. Bove has been her surgeon each time. He is a wonderful man and I think you will really like the facility! If you can, try to stay at the MedInn which is in the hospital. Request the 5th floor and let them know that Will is on the 5th floor and ask them about the shortcut to the floor-it takes seconds and you are so close that way! It's a huge hospital and a little overwhelming but a world class facility! Great nurses and fantastic staff! We were just there in December! We will sure be in prayer for you a nd your family! Our daughter, Anna is also a DORV but also with transposition and pulmonary and sub-aortic stenosis. Good luck and our prayers will be with you!
