Tuesday, February 7th

We finally got to speak with Dr. Bove. We didn't speak to him until late this evening... he had a surgery today that took 8 hours!! He told us that even though he hasn't had an opportunity to really look over Will's heart cath and echos, he is working him into his surgical schedule this Thursday. He said that he would speak to us tomorrow evening about what he plans to do for surgery.

Will had a good day today. He was awake most of the time. He seemed to be really happy this afternoon. He smiled while mommy held a pacifier in his mouth. (He doesn't really know how to suck on it yet, but he does like to chew on it)

I'll let you know what the plan is after I talk to Dr. Bove!

    Dear Stephanie & Josh,

I know how precious and rare it is for Will to SMILE while looking you in the eye.Praise God for giving Will a comfortable day to spend with all of you.

I will pray for God to give Dr. Bove has a very clear plan for Will's surgery. Since there are so many unusual variables in Will's condition; even the world's reknown pediatric heart surgeon -Dr.Bove, needs prayer.

Love to you 3 and to all at your side,
    Mom

    Stephanie, Josh and baby Will

    Good Morning!!

    This morning when I awakened
    And saw the sun above,
I softly said, "Good morning Lord,
    Bless everyone I love

Right away I thought of you
    And said a loving prayer,
That He would bless you specially,
And keep you free from care

I thought of all the happiness
A day could hold in store
I wished it all for you because
    No one deserves it more

I felt so warm and good inside
    My heart was all aglow
I know God heard my prayers for you
He hears them all, you know

We are praying for Dr. Bove too.

    Hello Steph & Josh,

We're very glad to hear that Will is "enjoying" his stay at Michigan. We're also very happy to hear that Bove will work his magic on Thursday. Will's going to feel so much better after this surgery. I can invision him on his way home and then sitting on the couch with you. It won't be long and he'll be wrestling around on the floor with Josh.

Our prayers are with Will, Dr. Bove and both of you. We'll be on pins and needles tomorrow waiting to hear how the surgery went. It will be so nice to have this surgery behind Will. We know he'll do well. He sure is a tough, tough little guy.

All of our thoughts and prayers are with you! God will see Will through this!!!

    Love, The Lowrie's

My name is Tammy Taylor, I am a co-worker of Robert Smith. I have been follwing Will's progress and he has been in my prayers. I have also shared little Will's journey with my friends and prayer team. I know they are each praying for him and your family. He and your family will remain on our church and personal prayer list until he is over this hurdle.

    GOD is with you always!

Just checking in on our little buddy, and loving all the thoughtful comments that people have made. God shows Himself in everything from these countless people praying around the world to the sweet smile of a child looking into his mother's eyes. May we always look for and cherish these precious glimpses of God's glory.

    You're in my thoughts today.
    Uncle Jay
