Well, last night Will did not improve liked we had hoped. They did several blood gases, and his numbers did not look good, so they had to take him off his home ventilator and put him back on the hospital ventilator.
We're still waiting on his blood cultures to come back to see if he has an infection. It is still possible that thet new medication they started him on the other day caused this. Right now we are just going to wait and see what happens.
Since Will is having these problems, we are going to stop rooming in.
This is a pretty big setback for us. Once we know what is going on, I'll have a better idea of when he might be discharged. I'll keep you posted!

Dear Stephanie & Josh,
I can't imagine the disappointment you both are feeling today - going home; without immediate plans to have Will join you.
I pray both of you will feel God's arms wrapped around you tightly until a new discharge date comes -and Will makes it home with you.
Both of you have continually shown the rest of us - an overflowing amount of strength, courage and God's grace. You both totally amaze me ....and anyone else who reads this blogspot!
God is Faithful; and I am sure He will continue to uplift you - with each passing hour. Look for Him, with every nurse and specialist who walks into Will's room.
Also, I will be praying for the doctors to readily identify the source of Will's problems; so he can get back on track - with a discharge date circled on the calendar!
I Love You ALL!

I know this is disappointing, but as it has been with everything else so far, things will happen in God's and Will's time. I pray for God to keep you strong (and patient). Know that we love you and will keep doing whatever you need to help!
Love you all bunches!!!!

Oh, that is not what I wanted to read. Sorry Will is not just bouncing right back. I pray the Drs. will find out what is going on and get Will back on track to go home. Still praying and loving you all!
